Gaza crisis spillover in France?
There is a substantial Jewish and Muslim community inside France. With the Gaza crisis getting worse, should the country be worried about a spillover effect of this conflict into its society?

New mosque welcomed in Créteil
A new mosque opened earlier this month in Créteil, just south of Paris. This weekend it hosted an open house for the community, with an official inauguration ceremony scheduled for December 18th.

Southern Thailand under close army watch
In four years, more than 4,000 people have died in southern Thailand. Bangkok is blaming Muslim extremist rebellion. FRANCE 24 was able to follow one military operation against insurgents in the region.

French court reverses virgin marriage annulment
A French court reversed the annulment of the marriage of a Muslim couple which sparked outrage, forcing the justice department to review the case. The couple obtained the annulment after the husband discovered his bride was not a virgin.
