Colombia's incursion into Ecuador may or may not be defensible (though minor compared to Turkey in Iraq), but the evidence found is quite key. If it can be independently verified (by Interpol, perhaps?), it means that Chavez is not above provoking war for the sake of his ideology; one that would divide Latin America, and potentially involve Cuba and the USA, during a time of international peace and cooperation in the region. That sort of provocation would be reckless and egotistical, on his part.
