Newell to shoot new film in Morocco

British film director Mike Newell will shoot his next film 'Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time' in Morocco, Morocco's Dune Films company said Wednesday.

Based on a popular video game, scouting and casting begins on March 17, the company said.

Newell has directed a string of hits, including 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire', 'Donnie Brasco' and 'Four Weddings and a Funeral'.
