By FRANCE 24The women of Kandahar, often widows with dependent children, struggle to feed their families. Although many of them are uneducated, they have taken matters into their own hands to make up for the government’s lack of support. They are helped by NGOs who train them professionally.
But in this old Taliban stronghold, women can’t work alongside men.
The Charity Police foundation is one of the few places open to women looking for education. The foundation offers to teach about 200 women how to weave. Authorised by their families, women come and work everyday excepting Friday, a day of rest and prayer. The others work from home and earn the equivalent of EUR 60 per month, an average wage in Afghanistan.
As poverty has obliged them to seek work outside their homes, these women have slowly seen their lives change.

I think I heard this from Queen Rania of Jordan, "Strong nation needs educated women". We should encouraged Afghanistan government to re-educate the people of Afghanistan specially the men of Afghanistan. They should allow women to be educated, send them to school and allow them to participate the women and have a role in their society.
