Austrian confesses to imprisoning daughter

A 73-year-old Austrian has confessed to imprisoning his daughter and three children, but not to having an incestuous relationship with her, prosecutors said Monday.

Josef Fritzl "has admitted building the dungeon and to holding his daughter and three children there. But he has not admitted incest," spokesman Gerhard Sedlacek told AFP.

Fritzl, arrested on Saturday, was still being questioned and was scheduled to be brought before an investigating magistrate on Monday evening, Sedlacek added.
