Reacting to the article about the Tunisian president, i am not going to disagree with what was said about the prosperity of the Tunisian country.. no one can deny that the Ben Ali "s policy had remarkebly improved the country to the better, as a British tourist who had several visits to Tunisia, i have an idea about how different ,Tunisia has become , compared to the rest of the arab world, where safety and order are the main component of the life scene, in Tunisia, in a time where tourists have to decide their destinations according to how safe they will be, and the facilities provided by the government to maintain the order and secure its visitors.. the omnipresence of security and police officers , is very obvious , throughout the country.. along with the (portrait) of Mr President.. so often, that even my kid was asking : who is this gentelman ?
Tunisian people are very friendly , communicative, and "easy going", even English is not the 1st , nor the 2nd spoken language, but i did never have any trouble to communicate... The infrastructure, is also to be praised, where the highway links between the main destinations, and the growth of industy enabled the country to be above the level of the rest of the continent..
however, i had some difficulties in accessing some internet sites , which did not relate to politics.. Youtube for example.. (??????????????? )
