Time magazine has published its fifth annual list of the world's one hundred most influential people. While US politicians feature heavily, European leaders are virtually absent. So, how do you measure the global impact of well-known individuals?
How is it that your (impartial) news/debate seems to be lopsided when it comes to MOST American topics. Could it be that the Parisian view of the US is a bit lopsided because of jealousy? If you DO NOT LIKE the top 100 list of MOST INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE, THEN MAKE YOUR OWN LIST. To characterize America as POP culture is to say that ALL FRENCH ARE SNOBS (which is proabably true for the MOST part!) But please, lay off. Don't have a MOCK debate with both sides bashing the one topic, they're supposed to be a pro and con discussion. If you cannot find a more interesting topic because your news service is SO NEW it needs more SUBSTANCE THEN MAYBE HIRE BETTER REPORTERS AND MORE PROFESSIONAL NEWS CASTERS! Thank you for letting me air my views back to you. I look forward to a response, sincerely, Ron Cervantes
