China's industrial output up 15.7 percent in April: govt

China's industrial output expanded 15.7 percent in April from a year earlier, the National Bureau of Statistics said on Wednesday.

Industrial output, a key measure of activity in the world's fourth-largest economy, expanded by 16.3 percent during the first four months of the year, the bureau also said.
