Lyon conquered their seventh straight French championship on Saturday with a 3-1 win at Auxerre.
Paris St Germain saved their top tier status by winning 2-1 at Sochaux, reprieved after what appeared a certain drop for much of the season.
Bordeaux placed second, four points adrift, after a 2-2 draw at Lens, sending their opponents down to second division a decade after the latter won the title.
Also smiling along with PSG were Marseille, France's only side ever to lift the European Cup, who bagged third place and with it a qualifying round spot in the Champions League. They edged-out Strasbourg 4-3.
