Sarkozy rules out renegotiation of Lisbon treaty

D' accord, Monsieur President

The Irish have learned how to became rich with the EU, but that's all they understand about Europe.
It seems to be at least at the moment. No benefits in addition and no opening of any bazaar for further rights,
vetos or posts in Brussels. They have their dignity, as Mr. Baroso said, and we have ours.

Really, Sarko?

I'm a huge fan of Sarkozy. He's generally on point.

But if the condition for the treaty's functioning is unanimous acceptance, and it does not get unanimous acceptance, then it failed. Period.
