Ingrid Betancourt said she owed her life to France

I am happy for Ingrid's return to her family, although I disagree with her statement that "she owed her life to France" weather she likes it or not, right now she owes her life to the Colombian president and the military. It was very disrespectful that she decided to go France rather to stay in Colombia if her intention is to run for president in a near future. I think that our country is well equipped with state of the art hospitals capable of offering the care that she needs for her recovery. I am elated that the 11 members of the military and the 3 americans were able to reunite with the corresponding families, they too suffered the atrocities of this nonsense war.
