I'm an American living in the USA. I've searched almost everyday for news of your release for the past year and am so happy that you are free!!! I will continue to tell everyone I know about the FARC and the many people still left behind! Mr. Perez, you desere a medal of honor! Mrs. Betancourt, you are a modern day Joan of Arc! Take care and know that the average American is very different than our politicians and we are not that different from you.
