Russia's ambassador to NATO, Dimitry Rogozin discusses whether it's possible to have a reconciliation between NATO and Russia after Russian forces entered Georgia.

Can Russia and NATO reconcile? A recently strained relationship has turned definitively sour with NATO's secretary-general, Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, claiming NATO can't continue "business as usual with Russia."

 

While NATO insists Russia halt all military operations in Georgia and respect its neighbour's territorial integrity, Russia accuses NATO of aiding a "criminal regime" via its steadfast support of Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili.

 

So what now for the NATO-Russia relationship and the standoff over Georgia's breakaway provinces? FRANCE 24's Sylvain Attal asked these questions and others to Russia's ambassador to NATO, Dimitry Rogozin.
