Will the Convention boost Obama? (Part 2)
As the Democratic National Convention in Denver comes to a close, we discuss whether the party's show of unity will be enough to help Barack Obama recover the lead in the race to the White House. (Part 2 of 2)
It's the final stretch of the democratic national convention and we'll be debating whether the democrats will get the 'bounce' they're hoping for.
In the lead up to the big event, there were questions as to whether key speakers Senator Hilary Clinton and former president Bill Clinton would come off as convincing - endorsing the man they once tried to discredit as a viable democratic presidential nominee.
But in the end, the pair did seem to throw all their weight behind their party nominee, with the former president going so far as to draw parallels between himself and Barack.
So have these days of Democratic unity on display in Denver given the party what it needs to regain Obama's former double-digit poll lead over Republican John McCain?
