is it nothing better to do now?

is it nothing better to do now?

Judge Baltasar Garzon should also try those now in the cemetery

Judge Garzon is tilting at windmills like Sancho Panza in an attempt to get publicity for himself. Who else would it serve to try those already dead and buried, but judge Garzon? It was a great idea in its time, but now it is both a waste money and time. To be exact it is an exercise in futility, without there being any conclusive results obtained.

It must be that Spanish judges like Baltasar Garzon have a lot of time on their hands and have nothing to do but waste it. Perhaps these judges could well be used in a more productive application of Spain's laws. Now if only the Spanish government could make these judges work for their daily bread there would be some results.

old wounds

I think that everyone already knows what happened during the Franco/civil war era , everyone involved is either dead or dying. This judge is motivated by politics and not a sense of justice, opening up the wounds of the past is political and can be counterproductive to the truth. Politicians should keep their nose out and leave the fact finding to historians and scholars.
