"Visa pour l'Image" special edition

Latest update : 2008-09-08

FRANCE 24's Elisabeth Tchoungui presents a special edition of our Culture magazine, live from Perpignan, for the 20th anniversary of the photojournalism festival "Visa pour l'Image".

FRANCE 24 is a partner of the Visa pour l'Image International Festival of Photojournalism, which takes place in Perpignan, in the south of France, until Sept. 14.

This year the festival celebrates its 20th anniversary, with an exceptional programme: over 30 exhibitions and nearly 18,000 photographs are on display over six evenings of viewings. Throughout the week, FRANCE 24 will take you to meet the photographers and their work.

You can also discover Yuri Kozyrev's exhibition on US soldiers in Iraq, Paula Bronstein's exhibition on women in Afghanistan, Marie Dorigny's exhibition on India's landless, and Michael Nichols' one on elephants.
