France Calling

Hope France wakes up from its moral slumber, and the normal Frenchman gathers the courage to break of the secular shell, that has been created by some elite sections and vested interests in French soceity. And grows back to its old prosperity of being worthy to be called, "The Eldest Daughter of The Church".

Church and low mass attendnace.

It is good that the pope is visiting France. The low mass attendance is nothing to worry about. It is part of the human nature. It is a human search for meaning; howevever, I quite agree that religion like Christianity is needed in our society as a guide; negation of religion like Christianity leads to total human destruction of self and our planet. Those who are against French President advocate on the "positive Secularism" should read deep Jesus Christ's life; Christ touches issues of politics, human rights and economy, and multiculturalism/interculturalism in which we at times think we could find answer by negating religion. May be the Church leaders might have failed in letting modern person see Christusness in politics, human rights and economy, and interculturalism; or seeing Christ as a bridge to all humankind, religions and cultures, and environment.I wish the pope and French people happy days.

I HOPE THE VISIT OF THE HOLY FATHER WILL BRING FRANCE BACK TO TH

I think it would be wonderful if the Holy Father's visit to France would bring them back to their catholism as it seem to be disappearing in France. Although when I go for vacations to France I am always surprised to see the churches full. I pray this visit will make France think of their souls not materialism.
