What to make of the final debate? It was the last formal showdown between the US presidential candidates, Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama.
Though most agree neither candidate dealt a knock-out punch, some say it was the best performance John McCain has delivered thus far. Still, the majority of polls taken after the face-off give Barack Obama a clear lead.
We look at what went right and what went wrong for the presidential contenders last night at Hofstra University in New York, with less than three weeks to go to this historic US election.
