The housing crisis and economic slowdown have contributed to a large increase in the number of people in homeless shelters. Our correspondents went to meet some of them in Cleveland, Ohio, where it was hard to find any Republican supporters.

A wonderful report, and very moving. I thought the director of the shelter was very eloquent and handsome.
