Fraud In Nicaraguan Elections

Also aI want to comment that the organization "Ethics and Transparency" was not certified to observed the elections. They have observed all the elections in the past. Also the Supreme Electoral Councill did not certify any international observed like they did in past elections. Also, this authority banned two parties from running in this election claiming they were not constituted according to law although they ran two years ago in the presidential elections. Ethics and transparency has officially said that this were the least transparent elections of all and that the public was oppressed and intimidated by authorities and by militants of the sandinista party. They reported anomalies in 35% of all voting centers...in conclusion this has been a low blow to democracy not only in Nicaragua but in the world

Fraud in Nicaraguan Elections

I am a Nicaragua and I am writing to let the world now that our government is a dictatorship that oppresses those who oppose them, this elections have been the perfect proof to that argument. I voted with all my family yesterday Sunday 9th of November, we feared that the sandinistas would close the polls earlier than 6pm, the expected closing time. We took our own pens becuase we were afraid of rumors claiming that pens provided by authorities (under sandinista control) were in bad shape. My ballot, given to me by the president of the election center (also sandinista), had a pen mark, if I had not noticed this mark my vote would have been anulled. My election center was full of people voting for the opposition party, my neighborhood has voted liberal in the past 5 elections and we were positive that we would win by a large margin at least in that election center. My husband and I returned to our voting center to see if they had results. When we arrived we received good news, the PLC (liberal party) had won 8 out of 8 election tables within our election center. Presidents and members of the tables were elaborating the closing statements that gave the PLC a 17% lead. We left around 10pm and the presidents, members and members of each party had not yet left to the national computing center, a bus provided by the election authorities was parked outside the center when we left, we do not now if our votes left the center ever.

To this hour, almost 9pm Monday our voting center 501 of Managua does not appear included in the official counting records of the election authorities, our party the PLC has all the closing statements from 96% of voting centers, and they claim victory. However the sandinista controlled voting authorities are giving victory to the government's party, the sandinistas.
