It's a pity that religion and politics are mixed together in this way when we are facing the issues in Tibet. Has anybody really took the time to investigate the differences of both sides of the story without bias? What are the real concerns that bother the people who are fighting for their rights and freedom and the government which is not granting it. I think a lot has to be looked into before anybody can reach any logical conclusion rather than rash biased opinions and remark on an issue without a complete overview of the issues involved.
Not all Tibetans have the same opinion about the existing conditions. Some actually like the current conditions because it had opened up new opportunities. Those fighting want things to go back the way they were. To have religion rule the country. As Tibetan Buddhist monks, they shouldn't be involved in such mundane matters as politics because everything is impermanent. Peace should be promoted without putting others in harm's way. The Dalai Lama is a political activist, not a Buddhist. People, and all living beings, will always be in suffering no matter when, where and in what political state. There's always something, if not religion, or freedom, or rights, etc. That's a fact. As a true Buddhist leader, he should help people lessen suffering and bring them happiness.
Tibet has been a part of China for a long time, about 2000 years. It is not just as what did Dalai Lama say. Dalai Lama is a liar. I so that advise the France people to read some Tibet history before you want to put you mouth on this kind of issue.
The two guys said that they would like to support the Tibetans for their independence. If you want to, it is your right, please remember how Chinese people will answer you. We Chinese love peace, we don't like any kind of war. However, if it were unavoidable, nobody would hesitate to face it. We will do what we can do to keep our country's right.
All power to Tibetans to acheive cultural and religious freedom and independence from Chinese imperialism. Please know that people all over the world feel deeply for you. We are digusted by the Chinese brutality, and will support your struggle in any way we can.
Youth of Tibet, you do not struggle alone, because no Empire is forever. One day in the future the Chinese Empire will self-destruct like those before them, and the Tibetan Nation like the Phoenix will rise again from the ashes of the Chinese Empire. No nation on earth can hold a people in servitude forever. The chains of slavery are like Gordion Knot and they will be set asunder by those who seek freedom and justice. There are no chains so strong that can keep men in enslaved, not evn those of CHINA.
