Human Rights Council - For whom?

Dic 13, 2008

I liborio ask myselft whay Mary Robinson, former UN Comissioner for Human Rights, has not success in the issue of Cuba.
If we cuban in our new national constitution incorporate the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, with a rasonable implementation
to give the United Nation Organization the apropiate tools to support our claim against the genocide regimen in the Island.
If some one has a rasonable response, please posted.
We include also to Ms. Mary Robinson to provide the answer. We had include women in the solution as the optimal solution to
governability.
The actual Human Rights Council, had been converted in the Council to protect the violator of human rights not in the council of the victims of such violation.
Thank you for the attention.

Mary Robinson's interview

Dear France 24
Congratulations on devoting time for the important anniversary and for bringing Mary Robinson's wise words in relation to the need for implementation and the need also to address economic, social and cultural rights. The opening words by Mary Robinson highlighted the support of business leaders for the upholding of these very important and universally agreed principles. Bringing them to the forefront demonstrates your organisations Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR). If business manage to scale up human rights awareness and implementation on the ground the 70th anniversary may prove to become the year of actual realization; an hitherto unprecendented catalyst for human rights for the benefit of us all may be the result of corporate focus on CSR.
Best regards
Sune Skadegaard Thorsen
