UN report denounces Rwanda's support of Tutsi rebels
Rwanda has provided assistance to the Congolese rebel leader Laurent Nkunda, helping with recruitment of soldiers, including children, supplying military equipment and sending officers and troops, UN experts said in a report on Friday.

AFP - Rwanda has been providing various forms of assistance to ethnic Tutsi rebels in Democratic Republic of Congo, a panel of UN experts said in a report seen here Friday.
The report said Rwandan authorities "have been complicit in the recruitment of soldiers, including children, have facilitated the supply of military equipment and have sent officers and units" from their national army to ethnic Tutsi rebels led by warlord Laurent NKunda in DRC.
It added that Nkunda loyalists "uses Rwandan territory as a rear base for fund-raising meetings and bank accounts."
The experts also cited evidence showing "extensive collaboration" between DRC government troops and Hutu rebels of the Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDLR) as well as with Mai Mai tribal militia in the Congolese Resistance Patriots (Pareco) movement.
They said this included the provision of ammunition and the conduct of joint operations against Nkunda-led forces.
The report also established that the FDLR earned millions of dollars annually from the illicit minerals trade, mostly through the taxation of mines and trade routes.
It said evidence showed that many DRC and regional traders "are complicit in these illegal activities, as they knowingly pre-finance or directly purchase gold, cassiterite, coltan (a sought after mineral used in the production of essential electronic components), and wolframite from FDLR-controlled zones."
The report also noted that "all armed groups continued to recruit and maintain children in their ranks, and are responsible for serious violations of international law targeting women and children."

My point of view on current DRC Problem.
The congolese conflict has caused death to alot of people and displacements almost all locals in North Kivu province. We and the International acommunity know that the conflict was based on mineral resources of our country. The renegade Laurent Nkunda supported by Rwanda has shown how some other super power have been using him being against the Chinese contract that had never been in Nkunda claims before. Congolese, we have understood that super power countries were not happy to notice that RDC was going to be developed though the different contracts with other countries. We know that some gouvrnmet authorities were involved in this "MAFIA". We request the international community to arrest first the rebel leader NKUNDA, it is not a big deal for them but its will is important. RDC authorities area requested to receive Nkunda with his claims without inviting other armed groups as he requires for a solution to be found. It is a long time that discission have beeb turning on Nkunda claims but without him to succeed and as I know he will not succeed. We need Kagame to stop suporting the rebel Nkund and plan peace talks with FDLR otherwise the same situation will be happening soon in his countey. If it was sure that the UN was willingly acting to establish peace in DRC, evidences on low violations by Nkunda and Rwanda suport to the rebel Nkunda were enought for the UN council to decide otherwise, their efforts during their long time in DRC will be vain and they will lost their equipments, manpower,... as the situation is now going to be worsen in the next genocide that they are planning in DRC.... Here is my question to the international community WHAT EXACTLY DO YOU WANT FROM US ???? Alright so the UN has published this report. What next??? The security councel will come back and claim that it has no sufficient evidences to act??? GIVE US A BREAK, THIS IS BULLSHIT TO THE CORE. Nkunda and its allies are so arrogant because they are very well aware that you guys share the same interest. $$$$$$. While We have lost more than 6 millions people and counting. Your international community never wants to listen to the will of the congolese people. Let me get specifics: 1. Kabila ( kanambe) is tutsi rwandese we did not vote for him and hate him but you stole the elections and put him in power. 2. Kengo is tutsi rwandese we hate him there but you put him as Assembly President. 3. Vital Kamehere is tutsi rwandese and we hate him and guess what you put him as president of the other chamber. All you guys do is oppress us as a nation by playing the cat and mouse game, interposing idiots congolese politicians "traitors" that are willing to sell their souls and the land for a couples of dollars. Where is JP Bemba that stood for the congolese nation, this entire theatre is maintained by this international community. Now you can continue to try to feed us the bullshit but we have began to throw it up. I would caution you that the hate that you keep stirring up in our hearts will eventually spilled out because we are not animals but human being.
