AC Milan, Zenit St Petersburg to face Werder Bremen, Stuttgart

Hot favourite AC Milan will face a challenge in the UEFA Cup last sixteen as they drew against German Werder Bremen. Last edition winner Russia's Zenit St Petersburg will play against Vtb Stuttgart.

AFP - Italian favourites AC Milan and holders Zenit St Petersburg face German opposition in the guise of Werder Bremen and Vfb Stuttgart in the draw for the UEFA Cup round of 32 made here on Friday.
  
Dual former winners Tottenham face Ukrainian outfit Shakhtar Donetsk with the other surviving Premier League clubs Aston Villa and Manchester City meeting CSKA Moscow and FC Copenhagen respectively.
  
Man City qualified for the knockout stage as top of their group despite Thursday's 3-1 loss in Spain to Racing Santander.
  
Aston Villa scraped through in third spot in their group after a 3-1 defeat to Hamburg while Tottenham secured their ticket with a battling 2-2 draw against Spartak Moscow.
  
In other ties Paris Saint Germain's reward for beating FC Twente 4-1 on Thursday was a clash with German club Vfl Wolfsburg, with former European heavyweights Saint Etienne playing Olympiakos.
