Daniel Martin of Florida speaks like he just came out of his graduation from the U.S. School of Brainwashing. It is pretty clear that it was men like him that sold out Cuba to Batista and the U.S. corporations. Why should we listen to those who are lackeys of U.S. imperialism?
Cuba weathered the storm of American sanctions and defeated them. Cubans have learned to do with less, and in doing so brought a measure of health that even the U.S. does not have. There are very heathy Cubans, but that cannot be said of the U.S. can it?
I've watched a few documentaries about Cuba and my impression is the people of Cuba are resourceful,resilient and ready.

If we do not confuse people with political rhetoric the power brokers lose.Fanned flames of imagined foes created solely for their fear factor would fall on deaf ears of an informed people,no matter their home.
How come this journalist is so disinformed about the Castro regime in Cuba?
Does she know of what happens to anybody disagreing with the current misadministration in Havana?
Does not she find anything unusual to a tiranny of 50 years,longer than most kings or Franco's time in Spain?
Does she know that both brothers Castro went to jail for taking the lives of many Cuban soldiers while assaulting a military hospital?
Did she know that Castro had promise Cubans free elections in 18 months?
Had she ever heard of firing squads killings after Castro took over in a country without death penalty untill then?
I hope she has not ,so we can say she is ignorant about Cuban history ,not ill-left sided reporting and blind to the sufferings of so many Cubans

No more US embarbo---
End the US embargo. Even though Cuba's political ideology is different from the US that difference is not a threat to us.
We do business with other countries whom are vastly different from us aside from Cuba so why is there still a problem here?
