REUTERS - Austria's Wolfgang Loitzl wrapped up an emphatic victory in the Four Hills tournament on Tuesday when he won the final stage in Bischofshofen with jumps of 142.5 and 141.5 metres.
Loitzl, 28, celebrated his first ever World Cup win during the event's second stage in Garmisch-Partenkirchen on New Year's Day before following up with triumphs in Sunday's third stage in Innsbruck and Tuesday's finale.
Previously known for his achievements in team competition, Loitzl had competed at more than 200 individual World Cup events without managing a win.
Switzerland's double Olympic gold medallist and overall World Cup leader Simon Ammann finished second on Tuesday to clinch second in the final Four Hills standings.
