What can Obama do for the Middle East?
Will the Obama administration mark a shift from its predecessors in its Middle East policy, with particular regard to Iran and the Israeli Palestinian conflict?

obama and middle east

In my opinion, from what Mr. Obama said today and omission of certain facts, that he's going to follow the same
deliberately failed role of honest broker between Israel and the Palistenians as the Bush Administration. Mr. Obama emphasized the fireing of rockets into Israel and,"The right of Israel to protect itself." According to Human Rights under International Law Israel has the right to defend itself just as the Germans did when they occupied France and were attacked by Partisans, but were not to defend themselves using force but by leaving. The same with Israel;they have a right to defend themselves but not by force, but by leaving. By also omitting the core issue of setteling and take over of occupied territory in his remarks Mr.Obama is either ill-advised or captive to the "old think" that has caused too much unnecessary blood spilled in this part of the world.
