Please more frank talk

I would wish for some more straight forwardness and frank talk. for somebody who does not live in Europe, its very hard to make one-self a picture on what is happening on the streets of France and other European cities. Mr Mikaïl made his OPINIOIN very clear, by constantly denying any link whatsoever between religion and what is happening. I wonder however, why he thinks it is necessary to block any further discussion on the subject by other participants, by constantly reminding them that "we" have to be careful. If a political show on TV is not the place to talk about what is happening, then where?
And one wonders where Lipietz was these days. In his eyes, the anti-israel demos were maybe a popular movement, but for most people who sah what happened through the bits and pieces from CNN and BCC and AJ had most certainly the impression, that what took place was a very strong ´pro-Palestinian demonstration, with strong islamist elements. one just had to listen to the many allah al akbar shouts, and the strong messages, like the one which called for the Jews to be exterminated.

I cant help myself, but hat Discussion had the feel of an old soviet piece, where everybody stared at the pink elephant in the room, but nobody had the courage to talk about it.

I think, that Europe should work very hard, to include and integrate all elements of its society. but by not talking about the issues that are most on Europeans minds, by trying to make everything look like there is no problem at all, when there actually is, by trying to constantly find other reasons for stresses between different elements of society, Europe risks to fragmente, with rivaling war-lord-like groups fighting for influence. in a sense, one can see that happening already in some neighbourhoods of Europe.
