Meshaal urges West to recognise Hamas
Hamas leader in exile Khaled Meshaal has urged the West to end its boycott of the Palestinian Islamist group which controls the Gaza Strip. Meshaal said Hamas had gained legitimacy by withstanding Israel's 22-day offensive in Gaza.
