Will the arrest of Laurent Nkunda put an end to the war in Congo

In my view, the answer is a big "NO". This is because we should not see Nkunda as a problem of Congo. The real problem/war of Congo started from 1998. That is long time ago before Nkunda
came and from when the then regime decided to ally with millitias who committed the 1994 tutsi genocide in Rwanda.
Congo has long been accused by the International community of collaboration with FDLR integrating them, of giving military, diplomatic, and financial backing to them.

The arrest of Laurent Nkunda may be significant to the rebel group not to the whole country of congo and this justifies that his arrest can not put an end to the whole unless the government of congo resolve the regional problem of FDLR

Thank you.
