The Albanian area of Kosovo should simply have become an integral extension to Albania, and the Serbian area have been an integral extension of Serbia. But as the UN sees these things: Why not have two states at twice the price, with an ongoing ethnic conflict thrown in for good measure.

This is news? someone stating an obvious political reality that's clear to anyone with the most basic understanding of international law.
