Latest update : 2009-02-26

French bank Natixis reported losses of 2.8 billion euros for 2008, dragged down by a poor showing in the fourth quarter. The investment bank is 71%-held by the Caisse d'Épargne and Banque populaire, who are currently in the process of merging.

AFP - French bank Natixis on Thursday announced a net loss of 2.8 billion euros (3.6 billion dollars) in 2008 after heavy losses in the final quarter.
