Lievremont brings back France's old guard to meet English rival
French veterans Damien Traille and Jerome Thion have been recalled to face England in the Six Nations championship on March 15 at Twickenham. Ouedraogo, Picamoles, Baby (injured) and Poitrenaud have been ruled out.
REUTERS - France have made four changes to the 23-man squad that beat Wales on Friday for the Six Nations game with England on March 15 at Twickenham.
In the backline, Florian Fritz has been restored at centre after serving a three-week suspension for hitting an opponent against Ireland on Feb. 7.
Coach Marc Lievremont on Wednesday has also recalled utility player Damien Traille who can cover the flyhalf, centre and fullback positions.
Benoit Baby has been sidelined with an ankle injury and fullback Clement Poitrenaud has been left out of the squad.
In the pack, lock Jerome Thion and backrower Julien Bonnaire take over from Fulgence Ouedraogo and Louis Picamoles with Sebastien Chabal switching from second to backrow.
