AIDS, the uninvited guest of the Pope's visit to Africa
Around 5 % of Cameroon's population has the AIDS virus. The isolation these people already feel in this Catholic country makes a goodwill visit from the Pope in March difficult. Organisations are meanwhile trying to increase public awareness of AIDS.
