Madagascar: Was it a coup?
Some Western donors have frozen non-humanitarian aid to the country and the African Union has suspended Madagascar. Foreign powers seem unmoved by Radzoel's insistence that his rise to power was not a coup.

Disagree

I completely disagree with this man who pretend to know my country so well. Who is he to make such a statement that this was not a coup? Who is he to make public slander to our elected president. This is just outrageous. How come you would trust such a man to be interviewed ?

Madegascar

This was a very illuminating interview in providing context for the takeover and clearly explicating the possible effects and ramifications.

Interesting Interview

Must of the occidentals are not interesting on the problems of Africa, maybe in some in the Middle East like Egypt, Libia for Kadafi time ago, but not for the others, as I see Mr. Michael Kirtley knows a lot of African problems he spoke fluently with knowledge and I hope the things will be better for the poor people in Madagascar but I think they don't have to cut the humanitarian help if they are poorest many people will died, and like always tycoons take advantege but the people are not guilty. I hope the situation will be better and peace returns and the tourism too.,
