Chapter 11: Boston, the explosion of machines (1890-1929)

On FRANCE 24, Jacques Attali presents 15 episodes of "Lessons for the Future.” Airing Tuesdays at 6:55pm and Mondays at 6:10pm in Arabic, Paris time (GMT +1), the programme takes the form of three-minute “chapters” that trace 2,000 years of economic history. The programme is inspired by Attali’s best-seller "Lessons for the Future" ("Leçons pour l’avenir", Fayard 2006).
