there is need to take a strong action against these pirates because it seems as if they are seeing their activities as legal. [if one is given warnings please take time to listen]

I knew a friend of mine before that her sister married a French citizen. They dont have papers and visa, so they used illegal entry to France-human trafficking in short. The lady was put inside the container and shipped to Hong Kong and from Hong Kong plane going to France.

In my wildest imagination, how about there is, or there are human inside the container of one of the ship being hijacked by the pirates in Somalia, what happen to them now? How many ships now are still under negotiation and cannot continue their journey to their respective destination? We all knew human traficking is still going on.

It is always sad when lives are lost - if it is true that they received so many warnings then the Skipper was at fault for risking the lives of himself and crew. It is unlikely, however experienced he was, that he could have known the danger he was in until it was too late. Hopefully this will serve as reminder to other idealists sailing round the world that they still need to heed the local authority.

The breakdown of world security is amazing... and so quickly...
