They call it the 'Jungle' here in France - a strip of land in the northern French port of Calais. The town's mayor says the hundreds of illegal immigrants who use it as a staging post while trying to enter the UK are creating an intolerable burden.

If the EU cannot agree a common approach to this problem what can they agree on ? Unlike most problems it is a problem common to all the countries. We do not have an immigration police it seemed to be implied that we do. The ID Card is not a problem because if they are accepted they can get anything they want.
