US is elected to UN Human Rights panel for first time
US is elected to UN Human Rights panel for first time
The United States has been elected to the United Nations Human Rights panel, a body previous US administrations had shunned for including rights violators as members. China, Cuba and Saudi Arabia were also voted onto the panel.
