Barcelona punishes Athletic Bilbao to win Kings Cup

Barcelona clinched the first football title in Spain as they defeated Athletic Bilbao in the King's Cup final (4-1). The Catalans could wrap up the Spanish title this weekend and also face Manchester United in the Champions League final on May 27.

REUTERS - Barcelona won the first of three possible titles this season when they came from behind to beat Athletic Bilbao 4-1 in the King's Cup final on Wednesday.

Yaya Toure levelled in the first half before Lionel Messi, Bojan Krkic and Xavi scored three times in nine minutes just after the break for Barca to win their 25th King's Cup.

The Catalans could wrap up the Primera Liga title this weekend and also face Manchester United in the Champions League final on May 27.
