Horror

It is so sad and painful to see the results of a truely sick society. So-called 'pious' men who hide, as usuall, behind rerligious cloakes, titles and legitimacy commit such aweful unspeakable pains on vulnerable humans.
Which reminds me of the US Catholic sex abuse 'scandals'.
I think we can all here agree that a society is defined by how it treats its most vulnerable: the very young, old and the afflicted. I see that in Afghanistan's case that would mean that it is a super-shitty society, too wretched for a human to live a life of dignity.

Shelters

Thank goodness for places like these, wish there were more of them. The people who work for these places are very courageous, caring human beings --- may it grow and grow.

good piece

It's really a good piece. It's a long time i haven't read such a good piece. Long life to france 24!

Mirror, mirror.

This level of violence and discrimination against women is severe by western standards, but it shouldn't be forgotten that there is plenty of violence and discrimination against women, in the west, which weakens the credibility of western criticism.

good luck!

Girls, good luck! This shelter is fantastic. US government should continue to help this kind of NGO.
