oh, of course, we stop protesting during holidays! pff...

I have trouble understanding this protest. Wouldn't it be more constructive and more efficient to discuss it in summer, without disrupting class, without jeopardizing the year and future of thousands, instead of waiting next year and wasting more semesters ? Are those protesting really interested in helping and ameliorating the educationnal system ? Or are they just her to protest for the sake of protesting ? from here, it looks like they're not that in a hurry to find a solution... a pity.

Result of the movement

On the two main subjects causing the strike, the government has been obliged to make concessions, but has not altered their general thrust. Instead of local highly paid managers evaluating researchers' work, the elected national university council will do so. And the transformation in teacher training which aimed at much cheaper teachers for state schools, has been postponed for one year. The movement is not satisfied, and action may continue even after the Summer.
