The abdication of the tulku is a significant embarrassment to the powerhouse Foundation for the Preservation of the Monastic Tradition (FPMT), the foremost Tibetan teaching organization in the West. It also challenges Westerners who have adopted Buddhism to find more sophisticated ways of understanding its magical side.
So what if Dalia is mistaken in his next incarnation turns out to be another Hitler or worse. People make mistakes. He is not a God King.
China need to shut up!
If China does not recognize the Tibetan government in exile, then Dalai Lama is a merely a religious figure. Why can't a religious figure receive honorary citizenship from Paris? If China wants other countries to stop interfering with its Tibetan issue, then China has no right whatsoever to interfere with another country's decision to name a honorary citizen!. Why not condemn the Nobel Prize committee and Canada as well? (Dalai Lama is a Nobel winner and Canadian honorary citizen) I am sick and tired of hearing all these Nazi-like Chinese people talking about their anti-foreign boycotts, thinking that they are being patriotic. How laughable.

Why does he ignore the Billons invested into the Tibetan infrastruture as inconsequencial?
Why does he act as a Nation Divider instead of a Harmonizer?
Why does he not just retire and leave the business of Gov't to Nations?
