AFP - A French navy ship on Friday recovered six more bodies from the Atlantic Ocean where an Air France airliner went down nearly two weeks ago, a Brazilian military spokesman said.
Brazilian military spokesman general Ramon Cardoso said the bodies had been picked up at sea by the ship Mistral.
The find brings to 50 the number of bodies recovered in the wake of the crash of the plane, which went down over the ocean on the night from May 31 to June 1 with 228 people on board.
Cardoso said the search for the remains will continue until there is no more hope to recover any new ones.
