Pilot's body is identified after jet crash
The bodies of the pilot and a steward of the Air France jet that crashed into the Atlantic overnight on June have been identified among those pulled out of the sea, the airline announced on Thursday.
AFP - The pilot of an Air France jet that crashed into the Atlantic this month and one of its stewards have been identified among the bodies pulled out of the sea, the airline said Thursday.
Flight AF 447 went down around 1,000 kilometers (600 miles) off Brazil's northeast coast on June 1 as it was flying from Rio de Janeiro to Paris with 228 people on board.
Rescue teams have found 50 bodies and are continuing their search for wreckage and the dead.
The cause of the disaster is not known. Speculation has swirled about whether the plane broke up in the air, perhaps from strong turbulence, or on hitting the water.

Brazilian Goverment ???!!!?!
Why did the brazilian goverment stopped their searches for victims bodies? To consider that the airplane was in perfect condition ...well the Brazilian Airport should in way hold part of the responsibility of not doing the requires perfectly to health check the airplane before start.... What are they trying to proove....or are they hiding on public ?? there are definetly some reasons why they are not looking for victims bodies anymore that is not fair or even acceptable.... Please France 24 raise these questions on our behalf, that is really horrible they decide stuff without putting the family in the picture....?!?!?
