Bulgarian opposition wins election: exit polls
Bulgaria's centre-right opposition GERB party beat the ruling Socialists in general elections on Sunday, but failed to win a clear majority, exit polls showed.
The GERB party of Sofia mayor Boyko Borisov won 38.5-41.8 percent of the vote, while the Socialists of Prime Minister Sergey Stanishev came second with 17.1-18.5 percent, according to exit polls by four polling agencies.
