Obama was right the destiny of africa is in the hands of africans .The question is for how long do we want to remain in the third world whilst our peers are in the first world. The first world has opened doors for us and it seems we are not taking advantage of all this.I beleive the AU and other regional bodies need to take stock of themselves and overhaul. There is need work on set targets and goals with a strict time frame and accountability and if you miss these targets certain heads must role.
