Africa needs help to reform

I would like to thank president Obama for his visit to and to Ghana and for challenging African leaders to lead and determine the destiny of Africa. While I support this notion I want to set the record straight that Africa needs the support of the world's democratic nations to make its destiny a reality. I would like to urge the international community to do more to ensure democracy and root out dictatorship in Africa. It is only when democracy is given a chance that Africa can realize her dreams. I want to thank president Obama for linking aid to good governance. Look at Zimbabwe for example Mugabe is sacrificing the masseses and selling the mineral to China to avoid democracy and good governance. Dictatorship is too costly for Africa no wonder why the continent remains poor despite its vast mineral resources.
