Carter was right. The colour of skin is driving the racist mad in the USA. They never believe a black man will ever rule a great country like america, but as for me, their mode of thinking is awkward and stupid. It's time for the obama administration to take the bull by the horn, and deal with any act of racism in that country, and avoid further embarasement from those so-called white. The white my foot.
Racism
Of course Obama is right to want to keep the issue of racism apart from his health care reforms. It is senseless to muddy the waters. But Carter has merely stated the obvious. Much of the opposition to Obama's health care reforms is irrational and based on ignorance. This makes for a neat fit with racism, which is characterised by ignorance and irrationality.
