By beating Dutchman Thiemo de Bakker, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga has offered France a unassailable 3-1 lead, meaning France is to remain in the Davis Cup World Group next year.

REUTERS - Jo-Wilfried Tsonga secured France a spot in next year's Davis Cup World Group by beating Dutchman Thiemo de Bakker 7-6 6-2 3-6 7-6 on Sunday.
 

The win gave France an unassailable 3-1 lead over the Netherlands in their playoff tie.
